The Grand Banks 42 Heritage has timeless lines and a strong reputation, a boat designed for people who wish to enjoy cruising in comfort and style. First launched 2005 and only in her 3rd ownership, 'Mr Toad' is powered by Twin Caterpillar 3126B 420hp engines on shaft drives with less than 600 hours. The boat favors a very spacious interior saloon and galley with an large comfortable flybridge and aft deck. The private Owners double aft cabin is vast, with separate heads and shower rooms. Two separate guest cabins forward of the saloon area, compromise of a 'V' berth cabin, and a twin cabins amidships, serviced by a heads compartment and shower. 8kW Generator, updated nav equipment, bow & stern thrusters, reverse cycle air conditioning, Eberspaecher heating to name a few. She has just been relaunched after antifouling, hull polishing, shaft seals, anodes, new batteries, engine service. She is in key turn condition and presented in excellent condition throughout. Viewings highly encouraged.

Broker comments

In production from 1966 to 2005, with over 1,550 hulls built, the Grand Banks 42 remains the most successful trawler design ever produced. The 42 is a model often copied, but never duplicated. It is a magnificent example of how Grand Banks Yachts has blended thoughtful design, safe passage making, comfortable living and exquisite craftsmanship. This has to be one of the best examples we have seen of this model, a rare model too which features the best of Grand Banks style, functionality, and build quality. Her condition and upkeep is a real credit to her owners.
