The Beneteau First 211 is still a popular choice as a step up from dinghy sailing with great performance and the space below to use it as a weekender. While not considered a true trailer sailer, they are easily towable which opens up options for choice of cruising ground. This boat comes with a mast raising system which greatly eases rigging and de-rigging. A number of upgrades and maintenance actions have been undertaken recently including new furling drum, swivel and line, new water tank and piping, battery isolater, level meter and USB socket fitted and more.
The open plan interior has a good sized V berth double and 2 good length single quarter berths. The simple galley has a single burner gas hob and sink and there is a porta potti loo stored under the V berth.
The GRP hull is finished in Yellow gelcoat but the current owner has had it wrapped in Blue. White non-slip decking. Heavy ballasted swing keel (0.70m to 1.80m draft), and a complete new keel mechanism including brackets and bushes fitted July 2024. Twin lifting rudders with tiller steering.
Powered by a Yamaha 5hp outboard last serviced in April 2024. A single 12V battery provides domestic power and is charged via the outboard.
