Construction

The Albin 35 TE’s renowned solid construction and versatile design is perfect for both cruising and fishing.

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:
  • The Modified Vee hull is fully cored with ¾-inch Baltek balsa core, which provides strength and rigidity while keeping weight down.
  • Flag Blue Awlgrip topsides in good condition.
  • The running surfaces and strakes are reinforced with solid fiberglass for added durability, particularly in high-stress areas like the keel, which features multiple overlapping layers of fiberglass.
  • The deck is also cored with Baltek balsa, except in areas where hardware is mounted that are reinforced with solid backing to ensure secure attachment.
  • Wide side decks with molded non-slip surfaces enhance safety and ease of movement around the boat.
  • The bow pulpit is a separate piece that is through-bolted and sealed, allowing for easier replacement if damaged.
  • A shallow keel improves tracking and stability, while the moderate beam and flared bow contribute to excellent sea-keeping abilities.
