Mustang 2800 Sports Cruiser for sale in Kent
This Mustang 2800 Sports Cruiser has twin Volvo Penta AD31-P-A 150hp turbo-charged diesel engines with Duo props. It has a white/blue hull with teak cockpit floors, full cockpit enclosure It offers four berths in two cabins, electric marine heads, reasonable sized galley and standing headroom. This is a great Sports Cruiser that has been well maintained and is only being sold due to a lack of time. The boat is currently ashore having just been antifouled, hull polished, new transom shield and anodes. A berth at Chatham Marina is also available. A December 2024 survey report will be available in the next few days . Owner open to offers
Accommodation :
The Mustang 2800 Sports Cruiser offers for berths in two cabins.
There is a large cockpit which can easily seat six people. It has a good sized cockpit table and sink. It has a full cockpit enclosure that can be removed in sections to provide outdoor seating. The Helms seat is to starboard with an array of instruments at the helm.
Stepping down into the saloon you will find the galley off to Port and the Heads to Starboard. The saloon has Halogen lighting, light coloured carpet throughout and reading lights. There is an opening deck hatch. The saloon seats can be lifted to access additional storage space. The saloon table drops to convert into a large double berth or or it can be used as a V berth. Aft and to starboard is a hanging locker for clothes.
Aft of the saloon and to starboard is the heads compartment with an electric marine toilet, Shower with hot & cold water, vanity unit with sink Sliding doors to built in cabinets The heads compartment has standing headroom.
Opposite the heads is the galley with a 12 volt fridge, microwave sink/ with hot and cold water, crockery and good sized storage cupboards. The galley has a single burner alcohol stove with a glass top . There is also a Radio/Stereo/CD player with remote control. The freshwater pump and lines were all replaced in October 2023
Aft of the galley is the aft cabin with a double berth, opening translucent ventilation hatch and a hanging locker.

History & Construction
This Mustang 2800 Sports Cruiser was built in 2001. It has a white and blue GRP Hull with white GRP superstructure. Teak cockpit sole and bathing platform. Reinforced plywood fibre glassed stringer grid system. High gloss Interior trim and panelling. Tinted toughened ultra windscreen. 4 x stainless steel elliptical ports Stainless steel rub rails Stainless steel fuel tank. The vessel is currently out of the water as she has just had a new transom shield, antifouled, anodes changed and hull polished. The owner is selling due to a lack of time to use.

This Mustang has a pair of Volvo Penta AD31P-A four cylinder turbo charged fresh water cooled 150HP diesel engines. These are connected to Volvo DP-E 1.95s outdrives with 3 bladed fixed pitched Duo props. There is a through tunnel bowthruster, new September 2023. The engines were last serviced in July 2023 and legs were last serviced in September 2023.
Electrical Systems:
Three heavy duty 150 AH batteries, 2 x engine and 1 x domestic (new July 2023) charged from engine alternator and via a 240V battery charger. 240V shore power ring main system with outlets in all cabins and a 240v immersion heater.
