SAFFIER YACHTS SC8M Cabin Great opportunity to purchase a 9 year old Saffier SC8M Cabin daysailer. One owner from new, with a very high specification including a Harken powered winch, Code 0 and Ulman Fibrepath sails. She has only 140 engine hours. The boat is in excellent condition and is ready to sail away - Nothing required to be done apart from hoist the sails and enjoy! The boat benefits from full engine service history, recent RIG survey, New Coppercoat antifoul, Sail drive lower rubber seal also changed this year. The Gel coat still looks great after 9 years and has had a ceramic coating applied every year, additionally she has had an all over cover fitted for the winter. With self tacking jib, single line mainsail reefing and inboard auto pilot, this remarkable daysailer can be sailed effortlessly by one person. With a high ballast ratio of 42% the boat is very stiff and controllable in heavy seas with a comfortable motion.


This Saffier SC 8M Cabin, provides a large ergonomic cockpit and interior fit for 4 adults to sleep. The hull is composed of fibreglass and the deck and cabin are built up according to the sandwich principle with non-slip Esthec deck. The self-tacking jib and large cockpit make it perfect for one-handed sailing. The V-berth and port / starboard seats, with the backrests raised, provide very comfortable quarter berths. She has ample stowage under the seats and three interior lockers. The Yanmar 2YM15 engine, ropes, sails and navigation lights along with Raymarine instruments and a 2024 Garmin MFD complete this seaworthy and self-righting vessel. All this with the well-known sailing qualities of the Saffier yachts brand, built with the latest technologies.
