TheYachtMarket.com is proud to announce the launch of the all-new website for the Association of Brokers and Yacht Agents (ABYA). The new website enables the association to showcase all that it does for the marine industry, providing valuable information not just for brokers and yacht agents, but for the boat buying public too.
The new website features include:
- Find a Boat section, powered by TheYachtMarket, where buyers can find boats listed by ABYA brokers.
- Find a Broker section enabling people to find the right ABYA member to provide services such as brokerage and tonnage measurement.
- Courses and Events section enabling ABYA members to keep up to date with their training needs.
TheYachtMarket has been working with YBDSA, the parent company of ABYA, to revamp their entire suite of websites, and the launch of the new ABYA website is the latest in that programme of development.
The other websites in the project, developed by TheYachtMarket, that are already live include the Yacht Designers and Surveyors Association website (YDSA) – an association catering for surveyors and yacht designers having the same principles and high standards of professionalism as ABYA. And prior to that, a brand-new Members’ Area was launched for ABYA and YDSA members to access their member benefits. The project also includes a Surveyors Portal enabling YDSA members to securely manage the details and status of boats they are surveying.
Simon White, CTO and Founder of TheYachtMarket commented: “One of the biggest challenges we faced with the overall project was that all the existing websites were separate so had to be managed individually. We wanted to overcome that by enabling multiple websites to be controlled in one place by one content management system (CMS). This has greatly increased the efficiency of updating the websites especially where certain information is published on more than one of them. The websites are also connected to YBDSA’s customer relationship management (CRM) system to pull in relevant data from there to keep it all synchronised.
