The Vismara design studio continues along the way of innovation with great attention to hydrostatic studies, fluid, and structural calculations already shown in the last Vismara Yachts such as the V34 EDS, V50, V62 and V80. The new day sailing concept contains all the Vismara innovations developed by the shipyard that results in a design and the deck designed both for racing and cruising, making the V40 Day Sailer the new point of reference for luxury daysail yachts – a fast, yet effortless day cruiser.
The whole construction is made by sandwich core with structural materials in advanced composites using unidirectional and biaxial carbon fibre impregnated and vacuumed in epoxy resin.
On deck
V40 Day Sailer has a deck-stepped carbon fibre mast with 2 spreaders. The running rigging are all recessed with maximum comfort while cruising without compromising the performance. Two electric winches are in the cockpit. Backstay and vang are assisted by hydraulic cylinders. Other highlights include a innovative bow shape, an extremely clean deck space and a large cockpit with twin wheels.
Interior
The spacious interior provides a king size bed in the bow, a living zone amidships with a galley to port. On starboards is a restroom and large shower box in natural teak look.
