Succes Yachts, a shipyard based in Marknesse, Flevoland, was established in 1980. Specializing in luxury motor yachts known for their superior craftsmanship and exceptional cruising abilities, the company experienced rapid growth in the 1980s and 1990s, producing successful models like the Succes 108, 115, 125, and 135.
A standout creation was the Succes 108 Ultra, unveiled in 1991 as the largest yacht ever produced in the Netherlands at the time. Praised for its luxurious interior and seaworthiness, the model garnered acclaim.
However, the economic downturn in 2009 led to declining sales and financial challenges for Succes Yachts. By 2010, the company declared bankruptcy and ceased operations.
Despite its closure, Succes Yachts remains a well-known name in the yacht industry. Yachts like the Succes 108, 115, and 125 continue to be admired for their quality and craftsmanship, with ongoing efforts in recent years to revive the yard proving unsuccessful thus far.
