This Southerly 100 was built in 1985 by Northshore and has been in her present ownership for 36 years. Atiamuri has a slab reefing fully battened mainsail, furling genoa, 2009 Bukh 24hp engine, up to five berths and Webasto diesel fired central heating.

Accommodation

From forward: Forward cabin with two single berths (over and under with an infill for the lower berth). Hull ports for extra natural lighting and stowage on shelving and under berths.

Aft to saloon with L shaped dinette to port and settee berth to starboard. The saloon table (with extension) slides up to the deckhead for extra space or drops to make a double berth (with infill cushion). Lee cloth to starboard berth.

Up steps to starboard navigation station. This has a full size chart table that slides forward with a pvc cover seat or aft for additional space.

The L shaped galley is to port and has hot and cold pressurised fresh water supply to the twin stainless steel sinks, Techimpex stainless steel two burner gas cooker with grill and oven, top loading Isotherm 2000 fridge and loads of stowage.

Aft to quarter berth to port.

The separate heads compartment is to starboard and has a Jabsco marine toilet, basin and shower.

Webasto diesel fired central heating. Curtains to all hull ports. Blinds to deck house windows. Beige upholstery to forward cabin and quarter berth cushions. Patterned cloth upholstery to saloon.

Mechanical Systems

Located under companionway/cockpit. Year 2009 Bukh DV24 marine diesel engine. 24hp. Shaft drive to three blade propeller. Sea water cooled. Single lever engine controls. Rope cutter to shaft. 27 gallons fuel capacity in steel tank. The engine is serviced annually by her owner.

Electrical Systems

Two 12V batteries (2021) in two banks charging via engine alternator.

Masthead Bermudan sloop rig. 1985 silver anodised mast and boom by Kemp Masts Ltd. Mast stepped in a tabernacle. Stainless steel standing rigging, 2017. Terylene running rigging. Spinnaker pole with up mast stowage. Slab reefing to mainsail with stack pack and lazyjacks. Furlex 200S headsail furling system. Lewmar 30 self tailing sheet winches. Lewmar coachroof mounted control line wiches.

Construction

Built by Northshore Yachts in 1985. White grp hull with blue style stripes and teak rubbing strakes. Hull epoxied in 2007. Off white grp coachroof with moulded non skid decks. Southerly swing up keel with manual hydraulic lift system. 1`10” draft with keel up and 6’0 with keel down. Keel mechanism professionally serviced some 4 years ago. Tiller steering to keel hung rudder. Teak slats to cockpit seats and grating to sole. Stainless steel safety rails with pvc coated lifelines. Six mooring cleats. Foredeck Sansom post. Alloy framed windows. Two windscreen wipers. Wintered ashore annually.
