Owners Comments :

We are reluctantly selling “My Lady” as we will no longer have the time to enjoy her as she truly deserves, due to our upcoming move abroad. She is a wonderful yacht, and we hope she will find a new owner who will continue to care for her and enjoy her as much as we have.

“My Lady” is a beautifully maintained and extensively refurbished gaff cutter, offering both style and performance for the discerning sailor. Her extensive restoration work has ensured that she is in top sailing condition, and with her classic lines, high-quality finish, and modern upgrades, she represents a truly special opportunity.

Brokers Comments

It is not often that a boat takes our Breath Away, but My Lady does exactly that. Having been built in 1938, she has all the lines, features and build qualities of a true Classic, yet this Gaff Cutter looks like it has just come out of the factory, being presented in superb condition. Having undergone an almost compete top to bottom refurbishment by her current Custodians, this is a Classic that has many modern touches and features to make your time onboard even more pleasurable. Modern equipment includes a Raymarine 12” Chart Plotter, VHF and a Jabsco electric flush toilet connected to a holding tank. Although completely re-built, she still carries the hardware and designs of her era, with polished bronze taps and lights and even custom fittings for her own Crystal Decanter and glassware. Everywhere you look My Lady delivers its class and style in an abundance, whilst still maintaining her original features, such as the twin Glass Skylights that flood light into the cabin and her exposed internal plank work that has been painted white. Elsewhere, her vanished woodwork and other surfaces are all in mint condition with a mirror gloss to enhance the look. This truly is a very special boat.

In case you haven’t guessed, we absolutely love this gorgeous boat and no words can fully do her justice. Having been in the same family Ownership for over 20 years, her Custodian’s are moving abroad, which is the ONLY reason they wish to sell her. She is currently afloat in Southampton and viewings are an absolute must to fully appreciate this stunning Classic Gaff Cutter. Viewings can be arranged through Aspire Boat Sales.
