Pearl Yachts was established in 1997 by renowned yacht designer and entrepreneur Iain Smallridge in the United Kingdom. Smallridge possesses an extensive background in naval expertise, setting out with the aim to create a line of luxury motor yachts that prioritise innovative design without compromising on quality and performance. The first Pearl boat was launched in 1998, marvelling spectators and experts alike with its innovative craftsmanship. Pearl Yachts has since become one of the UK's leading motor yacht manufacturers, producing world-class, seagoing vessels that combine elegance with seaworthiness.
With the turn of the century, Pearl Yachts demonstrated a significant shift in its yacht design philosophy, marking a different trajectory for the brand. In 2002, the company partnered with notable designers Bill Dixon and Kelly Hoppen to revolutionise their yacht models. With Dixon tasked with the design of the exteriors and Hoppen with accentuating the interiors, Pearl Yachts truly obtained a distinctive identity in the marketplace. They brought their combined expertise to the Pearl line of yachts and the first bridgedeck model was introduced in 2004.
Today, Pearl Yachts continues to maintain its production facility in Warwick, in the West Midlands of England. Despite its humble beginnings, Pearl has gained global recognition, renowned for its commitment to detail, quality, and design innovation. The brand has grown a reputation as a landmark for refined aesthetics and sophisticated functionality, while boasting a range of beautiful, powerful, and remarkably seaworthy vessels. Pearl's modern fleet ranges from 62 to 95 feet, all exhibiting the same ethos of innovative design and technical proficiency that characterised their early models. With Pearl, luxury and performance do not just coexist; they synergise to create a yachting experience unlike any other.
