History of Nautica Yachts

Nautica International, Inc., more commonly known as Nautica, was initially brought into fruition in the year 1973. This globally recognised boat manufacturer was established by the industry aficionado Franco Rossi in Forlì, Italy. Rossi's fervour and profound love for the sea transpired in the origination of a company that would later become a hallmark for robust, reliable and progressive inflatable boats. The company's profound knowledge about the sea, coupled with the motivation to create agile and seaworthy vessels, resulted in a series of successful models that lived up to the expectations of seaward adventurers and sailors worldwide.

In 2002, Nautica underwent a significant expansion and shift in its administration when it was acquired by Ferretti Group, a multinational shipbuilding company based in Italy. The acquisition led to an important phase of progress and innovation for Nautica with the consolidation of its brand reputation, major investment in advanced technology, research and design capabilities. Situated in the heart of one of the world's most prominent maritime hubs, Nautica also benefited from the immense know-how of skilled artisans, thereby reinforcing their commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Today, Nautica's production is situated in Mondolfo, Italy, where each boat is meticulously crafted keeping in mind the company's traditional philosophy and cutting-edge designs. The autonomous production procedures are precisely micro-managed in order to maintain a high standard of quality. Nautica's exhaustive range of inflatable boat models meet the requirements of various marine environments and applications, stretching from recreational to professional use. By merging unique Italian design and innovation, Nautica has truly managed to live up to its maritime heritage while simultaneously catering to the future demands of the boating industry.
