1995 Charles Green motor cruiser for sale in Kent.
This 1995 Charles Green hand-built, one-of-a-kind motor cruiser is perfect for coastal adventures, or river cruises. The vessel boasts accommodation for up to four people in two cabins with twin single berths in the forward cabin and an owner’s double berth in the stern.
Regrettably, the owner, despite their fondness for the boat, must part with her as he is retiring from boating due to ill health.

Accommodation :
This Charles Green motor cruiser offers spacious accommodation for up to four people across two cabins. The forward cabin features a twin V berth, with under-berth storage. Access to the anchor locker is in the forepeak.
The heads are located on the port side, behind the forward cabin. The heads consist of a Stainless-steel sink mounted in a vanity unit, pressurised hot and cold water with shower attachment, built-in shower tray, a marine toilet, and a mirror. Hot water is supplied by a Taylor gas boiler.
Moving into the saloon, booth dinette seating and table on the port side with Under-seat stowage and shelving spread behind the seating area. The galley runs along the starboard side. Featuring a single stainless-steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water, a gimbled two-burner gas hob with oven and grill, 12-volt fridge, a microwave, 240V supply sockets, and ample storage space. Also included in the saloon is a radio/CD player and TV.
Ascending the saloon steps, the Wheelhouse saloon offers great visibility through three windscreens and side windows. The helm position is located on the starboard side, with a single helm seat, wheel steering, engine controls, and the vessel control panel. The port side offers a large booth seating area with a table. This area also allows access to the engine compartment.
The Master cabin is located aft of the vessel, companionway steps lead down to a double berth across the stern with underberth storage, hanging wardrobe, and storage cupboards. This cabin also has access to a private Heads compartment with a white sink mounted in a vanity unit with hot and cold pressurized water, shower attachment, marine toilet, mirror, and in-built shower tray.
This Motor Cruiser is equipped with an Eberspaecher D4 Diesel heating unit with outlets in the saloon, wheelhouse, fore and aft cabins.
Ascending the wheelhouse, to the aft cockpit which includes an external helm position to port with engine controls, steering wheel, single helm seat to Port, and single navigator seat to Starboard and grants access to the forward and side decks.

History and Construction: Built by the current owner, and constructed over 13 years, and finally launched in 1995. This hand-built motor cruiser is built with 1/2-inch marine ply with an epoxy coating sheathed up to 9 inches above the water line. It has a double diagonal ply along the hull and waterline. This motor cruiser has a white hull, superstructure, and cedar decks.
The Vessel was last ashore in January 2024, when she was re-antifouled, and anodes replaced. The owner is reluctantly selling the boat as they are retiring from boating due to ill health.

The 1995 Motor Cruiser is powered by a single BMC, 50HP diesel engine, with Morse controls, which drives a shaft-driven 3-bladed fixed propeller. The engine has completed 998 hours as of 24th May 2024
This engine is fresh water-cooled and was last serviced by the owner in 2022 and hasn’t been used since. The engine is supplied by two 70-liter plastic fuel tanks with a total fuel capacity of 140 Lts.
This Motor Cruiser has a cruising speed of 6 knots and can reach a top speed of 8 knots.
Electrical Systems:
This vessel is fitted with 4 x 12-volt batteries (1 x engine 105Ah + 3 x Domestic batteries 110Ah) charging from the alternator. This vessel also benefits from a 240v shore power system with a ring main, and battery charger, and a fixed 2KW petrol generator.
