Boat Details

The Moody 47 owes its impressive passage times to its latest generation hull which, with its extended waterline, cuts efficiently through the water.

She can be sailed easily by two people. All the controls are placed within the long cockpit where spray protection is provided by the stainless steel framed windscreen.

In-mast furling, cutter rig and self tacking stay-sail for greater flexibility.

Teak decks and cap rail on the raised bulwarks.

Owner advises - In the 17 years we have owned Senior Moments we have spent 3 months on the boat (from end May to end August and have cruised from the Baltic to Bordeaux and everywhere in between. This summer we spent the 3 months going through Holland via the  MAST-UP route and decided that, although, we are ‘dynamically mature’, 80 is just around the corner and it is time to ‘swallow the anchor’.
