We are pleased to present 'HAPPINESS' a wonderful example of a 1984 Maritime 21. Built in Teignmouth by Chris Humphries and designed to be sea worthy, robust coastal fishing boats the Maritime 21 model can be utilised and enjoyed for a variety of purposes. Built to suit the commercial fishing market but with differing layout options to also appeal to the leisure market no two boats are quite the same. 'Happiness' has a larger cockpit, secure wheelhouse and a forepeak with twin berths making her perfect for a leisurely fishing boat or for a couple or small family to enjoy exploring the local waters. 'Happiness' has been well maintained with plenty of time and money spent to ensure she presents to a very high standard. The Maritime 21 is a versatile vessel appealing to a variety of sea users. 'Happiness' offers both a large cockpit suitable for fishing or potting in addition to below deck space perfect when sheltering from the weather or for enjoying spending days out cruising the local waters. The large bright white cockpit with blue tread floor and finished with wooden trim and grab handles is the perfect size to fish with friends or haul in pots. The manual bilge pump located to the starboard side is easily accessible when required and the engine box central serves as a work space for preparing bait or rigging lines. Offset the the port side a well finished wooden door leads into the pilot house with a good sized window to the starboard side allowing for good visibility aft from the pilot house into the cockpit. Wooden grab rails mounted on the coach roof makes moving along the side decks easy and safe. Moving into the pilot house the helm is positioned to the port side with good visibility over the bow and aft to the cockpit. To starboard there is space to place a small stove is required. Stepping down into the forward cabin there is a V-berth useful if wanting to overnight or to be used for storage.
