Luxury Owners Version Sailing Catamaran
Flor De La Mar is a 2010 Lagoon 450 F, one of the best selling cruising catamarans in the world thanks to being built for space, comfort and speed.
As you would expect from a 45ft (13.96m) catamaran there is loads of space on board. A vast aft cockpit nicely covered by a hard top has wrap around seating and dining table to port. There is also a forward cockpit by the trampolines, the flybridge helm, and of course the huge saloon that’s designed for entertaining large groups.
The saloon has a large dining table, bar or entertainment area, good sized U-shaped galley with Eno gas stove & oven, fridge and breakfast bar. The chart table has a Raymarine repeater and controls for the autopilot, as well as plenty of space to add additional displays/repeaters, and doubles up as a spacious desk for those who prefer to Work From Yacht rather than Work From Home! As the saloon is raised above the deck, there is 360 degree visibility thanks to the large windows all around.
Flor De La Mar is the rare “Owners Version”. This configuration gives you 2 spacious double cabins each with their own private head and standing shower in the port hull, and a large owners suite in the starboard hull. Taking advantage of the whole hull, the owners suite has the same spacious double berth aft, as well as a seating area, desk/dressing table, large hanging lockers and the kind of bathroom (calling it a head just doesn’t feel right on this yacht!) that you would expect to find on a 70ft yacht.
All control lines lead back to the flybridge helm which, along with the usual engine controls and Raymarine electronics, has Harken electric winches, and excellent visibility all around. As this helm is placed more forward than other sailing yachts it’s easy for the skipper to communicate with all crew or guests, even when anchoring.
Flor De La Mar is currently registered as a skippered charter yacht (SZH) in Singapore and is professionally maintained by her crew and in-house engineering company. The new owner can choose to keep the charter license or register for private use (SZ in Singapore) or flag overseas instead. She is currently berthed in One15 Marina, Singapore, and the berth can be transferred to the new owner subject to membership and approval.
