SY TANGO is the pinnacle of elegant daysailing in style with maximum Performance. Cold Moulded hull of Khaya and Spruce reinforced with Carbon Sandwich. Carbon Keel  fin  with  lead  bulb, retractable  for  Trailer-Mode.  Carbon  Rudder  with  quick release for easy removal. Carbon Hall-Spars Mast. Single-Hand capable!

SY TANGO was inspired by the W37 "RACE HORSE". A repeating client of judel/vrolijk & co commissioned our office to come up with a design of a little trailer able Daysailer in 25-30 ft range. His requirements where simple: short-handed/solo Daysailing with no regards to any rating system but with a strong focus on pure Performance and Easy Handling.A retractable Bowsprit ensures downwind performance. The design features a clean and simple deck layout, a  huge comfortable cockpit and a minimized interior with the option for overnight stays.We are very proud of the outcome of this design and have to admit the boat yard “Yacht-& Bootswerft Stapelfeldt” fulfilled all our expectations to the fullest. The outcome is in our eyes a true master piece in modern boat building.  SY TANGO has been built to the highest standards using cold-moulded Khaya/Spruce with Carbon-Sandwich reinforcements. The Deck is laid with high quality Teak. All details are carried out to the in superb quality to meet the demanding owner’s expectations. The rig is made by Hall-Spars in Carbon Fibre with Rod-Rigging. Sails are Carbon Laminate in good condition. The keel fin is made of Carbon with lead bulb. For easy trailer operations the Keel can be retract and the Carbon rudder can be dismantled easily. TANGO is powerd by a 4.8 kW electric engine with folding propeller and 2x Torqeedo Lithium Batteries 24/3500 (replaced 2021).   SY TANGO was commissioned in 2013 and comes in “very good” condition. Immediately available!Including Custom Harbeck Trailer.  Replacement costs estimated to more than 600.000 €!
