Vessel history and Owner Comments
We bought the boat online from a recomended broker(a friend bought a boat from him 2 years before we did).
We know the boat was originally a charter boat from sunsail. and the we know it had 2 more owners. last one was an Australian couple who owned the boat for about 2 years but barely used because they were a bit old so they decided to sell the boat.
So we bought the boat in april 2024, near Athens, Greece. It was in drydock. we applied antifouling and did all maitenance the boat needed prior starting sailing again. and we have been sailing since then all the way to caribbean, currently in BVI. Atlantic crossing was done succefully without any issues. using just about 10 engine hours of propulsion. mostly mainsail and genoa with the pole.
before doing the Atlantic crossing we did lots of upgrades, most important I will say: new main sail with 3 reef, fixing genoa sail(re-stitching), radar + radar reflector, new chart plotter and 2 displays, asymetrical spin, whiskerpole/spin pole in mast with all necesary rigging.
maitenance to life raft, fire extinguishers and flares.
also while living abord, we keep her in great condition, super tidy and well kept boat.
Sadly, our sabbatical year has come to an end, and it’s time for us to return to work. This has been the most incredible experience of our lives.
Knowing we had just one year, we chose a boat that would allow us to make the most of every moment—one that was ready to sail with almost no work needed. This sailboat is a comfortable and reasonably fast cruising vessel, offering a spacious and beautifully lit interior.
We meticulously prepared it for bluewater sailing and successfully crossed the Atlantic with the ARC+ 2024.
Our journey began near Athens, Greece, in April 2024. We spent three months exploring the stunning Greek islands before sailing to Croatia, Italy, France, Spain, the Canary Islands, Cape Verde, and now the Caribbean.
One of the things we love most about this boat is its 100% solar self-sufficiency, allowing us to cruise freely and sustainably.
Now, we are looking for the next owner to continue this amazing adventure!
