Boat Overview
MAINSTREAM is available for sale by her second owner and has been meticulously prepared for adventurous coastal cruising. The Hallberg-Rassy 352 showcases excellent sea-keeping characteristics, making her a strong and reliable sailing partner. Her long, encapsulated keel and deep sections forward of the keel ensure a steady and comfortable course without the risk of slamming. This steady motion at sea provides safe conditions for the crew on deck, with ample shelter in the cockpit and numerous grab rails leading forward.
Below decks, the practical and well-thought-out interior layout offers generous proportions, particularly in the chart table and salon seating areas. The center-cockpit arrangement features a large owner's cabin aft and a dedicated engine bay with easy access through the large, insulated doors in the walkthrough.

Accommodation
First-class workmanship in selected mahogany with a silk smooth varnished finish. The upholstery is blue deluxe fabric. Curtains are fitted to all portlights and ceiling hatches, along with mosquito nets for opening hatches. The floorboards are made of teak plywood with holly inlaid stripes and have been recently varnished. Carpets are throughout. An Eberspacher diesel-fired cabin heater is thermostatically controlled. The accommodation consists of the following:
CHAIN LOCKER:
Water and gas-tight locker for gas bottles, with anchor chain below. The space is accessible from the deck and drains overboard.
FORWARD CABIN:
Forward cabin with two comfortable berths with infill between. Length of berths is 2.05m (6'8"). Stowage is available below the berths, with a cupboard forward in the cabin above the berths and shelves at the sides.
A door separates the forward cabin from the passage to the main cabin. To starboard in the passageway are two good-sized hanging lockers.
HEADS COMPARTMENT:
To port is the roomy toilet compartment with a pump action marine head. Stainless steel holding tank. China wash basin sunk into the countertop. Pressurized hot & cold water. The faucet is pulled out for shower use. Mirror and various lockers are included. The floor is designed as a shower stall with teak grating over a drained well. Shower waste water is drained into the bilge. Headroom is 1.85m (6').
MAIN SALOON:
The main cabin features settee berths on either side. The port side settee is L-shaped. The settees measure 2m (6'6"). Bookshelves and lockers are located behind the settees. Lee cloths are fitted to both settees and the seat backs, which can also be used as berths. A dropleaf table with bottle stowage is in the center section. The inside of the hull above the berths is panelled with mahogany. The ceiling is lined with vinyl panels. Headroom in the main cabin is 1.89m (6'3").
GALLEY:
Aft in the main cabin is a U-shaped galley equipped with a Taylors 043 2-burner gas stove with oven and grill in gimbals. An additional 240v 2-ring countertop induction hob is included. The drained ice box has an 80-litre capacity with a 12v Frigoboat refrigeration unit. A stainless steel double sink measuring 24"x14" features a foot-operated fresh water pump. Pressurized hot & cold fresh water is available. The countertops in the galley are made of teak effect plastic laminate. There is a locker for crockery, a waste basket, and drawers. Two full CampingGaz bottles are included, new in 2024.
CHART TABLE:
On the port side, the navigation table includes a chart locker, drawers, an electric switch panel with voltmeter, fresh water and fuel gauges, and an engine hours counter. A Pioneer Stereo with cockpit and saloon speakers is also included. In the walkthrough to the aft cabin, there is a workbench with stowage lockers. A locker for oil skin gear is located below the companionway ladder. All interior woodwork is in light mahogany with a matt silk finish. All interior lights are LED. The floor is varnished teak with inlaid holly stripes.
AFT CABIN:
Drawers are located below the berths in the aft cabin. A cupboard is above the berths, with shelves at the sides and a hanging locker on the port side of the cabin. A door leads to the main cabin, and there is an escape hatch to the deck.
