This is no ordinary Dufour Arpege 30 this is a very special Arpege 30. Last year she completed the 2024 Jester Challenge (The Azores and Back) a total of nearly 3,000 ocean miles. The Jester Challenge is a sailing event for small yachts. The 'Challenge' is sailed singlehanded and described by many as a modern experiment in old-fashioned self-reliance, self-sufficiency and personal responsibility’. It of course needs, a large dollop of good seamanship. Not forgetting that a yacht like Macavity is essential for the 'Challenge'. She is so well equipped that, if a new owner wished, they could also do the Jester Challenge. However, for the less experienced adventurer, Macavity is equally at home for coastal cruising in comfort . The Dufour Arpege is renowned as a capable easily handled and comfortable passage maker. This a great opportunity to acquire a well found and proven yacht at an unbelievable low asking price.
