Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean” (or Cat B – whichever is appropriate)

 

Hull Construction:

  • Female moulded vinylester resin, vacuum bagged around balsa core.
  • Double isophthalic gel coat finish.
  • Kevlar reinforced below the waterline and full-length stringers.
  • Teak and stainless-steel external trim - teak capping rail.
  • Two watertight bulkheads forward, plus watertight doorway from saloon forward.
  • Hull painted (2021).
  • Hull reinforcement and copper coating around repair by Desty Marine as per Jim Pritchard spec (2023).
  • Propeller anti-fouled with Prop Speed and serviced.

 

Deck Construction:
