The DeFever 44 Offshore Cruiser, located in Girona, Spain, is a well-regarded trawler from 1987, known for its reliability and long-range cruising capability. It features a full-displacement hull made of solid FRP, with an overall length of 13.34 metres and a beam of 4.50 metres. Designed under the Polish flag, this model is equipped with a large aft deck and spacious flybridge, accommodating a Whaler or a 3.35-metre RIB on the sundeck. The interior includes a spacious owner's cabin at the rear and a guest cabin at the front. With a fuel capacity of approximately 3,400 litres and a water capacity of about 1,325 litres, it offers a range exceeding 1,500 miles. Navigation and safety equipment include navigation lights, GPS, VHF, compass, autopilot, Epirb, life raft, and bilge pump. Although no longer in production, the DeFever 44 remains a popular choice for cruising couples before being succeeded by the DF45 Aft Cabin model.

The owner’s cabin is spacious and located at the rear. There is only one guest cabin located at the front. It typically carries 3,400 liters of fuel and 1,325 liters of water. Its range is easily 1,500 miles or more.
The 44 is a reliable long-range cruiser with a full-displacement hull made of solid FRP. It is no longer in production and has been replaced by the longer, wider DF45 Aft Cabin model, which features a semi-displacement hull design.
