This Broom 39 is now for sale exclusively through Clarke & Carter. Built in 1994 by Broom Boats in Norfolk as a successor to the Ocean 38. Its wide beam gave it spacious accommodation for the length, which includes an island double berth aft with separate heads and shower compartments. Designed with both inland and coastal cruising very much in mind 'Aquarius' fits very nicely into the latter category with twin Volvo Penta 330hp inboard diesels with sensible hours.

Mechanical & Electrical Systems

Twin Volvo TAMD62A, six-cylinder, 330hp diesel engines. Fresh water cooled via heat exchangers. Shaft drive through ZF gearboxes via P-brackets to fixed four-blade bronze propellers. R&D shaft couplings. Single lever Morse controls. Trim tabs. Engines professionally serviced November 2023.

SidePower bow thruster.

4 x Trojan 6v domestic batteries wired in series creating 12v circuits. 2 x engine start batteries. Batteries charged via engine alternators.240v shore power system with Victron 15amp battery charger, immersion heater and ring main. Victron 2,000kva, 80amp battery charger/inverter.

Up to six berths in three cabins outside of the saloon with good standing headroom throughout. Hot and cold pressurised water supply to galley sinks, wash basins and showers. Eberspacher diesel fired central heating system.
