Accommodation

The Broom 37 is a very comfortable boat indeed. Designed to spend extended periods afloat, you can see why these craft have become so popular as liveaboard accommodation. There are clearly defined areas with a large saloon with panoramic window vistas, downstairs galley with separate dinette area opposite and two spacious sleeping cabins at either end of the vessel.
The saloon is entered by a curved stairway from the upper helm. L-shaped seating area to starboard with an occasional table and a cupboard storage area to port. The saloon and dinette seating was replaced in 2017 with soft leatherette material and is in great condition. The lower helm is to port but by being pedestal mounted does not overwhelm the saloon. The helm seat is removable which again increases the available space. Large side windows and the three piece glass windscreen let in lots of natural light. The interior woodwork is a blend of solid and mahogany veneers which compliments the interior.

Moving forward and down three steps you will find the galley to starboard and the dinette to port.
The galley is U shaped and features a gas fueled 3-burner hob, with separate gas oven and grill. There is a 130 Lt capacity front loading fridge with ice compartment for perishables. Plentiful work surfaces with built in waste disposal. Stainless steel sink, seperate drainer with pressurised hot and cold water. Built in Microwave oven. Lots of storage above and below the counter tops. 3-Pin sockets.
Opposite the galley is the aforementioned dinette. This will comfortable sit 6 persons. The table has a drop leave to increase capacity and will drop down to make a 3rd double if required. There are two opening ports which are fitted with privacy curtains.

Moving forward is the bow cabin. This is a large V-berth arrangement The berth is well upholstered and features the original fabrics. There are storage drawers below. Additional storage can be found in the hanging wardrobe and below the dressing table. Again there are two opening ports for light and ventilation in addition to the deck head hatchway. 12V lighting throughout. The day heads can be accessed from the forward cabin.
The heads has a moulded sink unit with hot and cold pressurised water. The shower unit is separate and wall mounted with a shower curtain. The heads are electric and fitted with a holding tank.

Moving aft back through the saloon you will find the 'Owners' aft cabin. This is a full width cabin with island berth. There are his and her storage options either side of the bed and an ensuite heads to starboard and an ensuite shower room to port. The heads has a moulded sink unit hot and cold pressurised water and a electric flush toilet which shares the same holding tank as the day heads. There is a gauge which monitors the level of the tank. The port side shower room is as described and finished in easy clean wipe down mouldings.
