Accommodation
The space with the Oceanis 36CC is vast and designed for extended periods afloat. The main saloon is accessed from the cockpit down the companionway steps. These steps are curved and not steep making it easy and comfortable to access during a blow. On entering you are struck by the amount of warm coloured wood panelling and furniture whilst remaining bright, light and airy. Those who are tall will be delighted with the headroom throughout.
The main saloon features a central wooden drop leaf table. The settee to port is slightly larger than its counterpart to starboard and indeed form an additional double berth if required. There is storage below and behind the settees with additional storage in the hull mounted lockers. Forward is the fore cabin with its large double berth, hanging lockers port and starboard and hull mounted shelves. Large Lewmar deck hatch provides light and ventilation. 12V cabin and reading lights.
Returning to the main saloon and moving aft on the starboard side is the forward facing chart table with chart storage, sliding navigator seat, chart light and switch panel. immediately behind here is the large heads compartment. This can also be accessed from the owners aft cabin and is a GRP easy clean compartment. As well as the marine toilet there is a wash hand basin, shower and vanity unit.
The galley is situated on the port side aft of the companionway. This is a sizable area and features double stainless steel sink, gas fuelled stainless steel oven with two burner hob and top loading 130L capacity fridge unit. Large work surfaces on either side with lots of cupboard storage for provisions, cooking utensil and crockery. Both galley and heads have pressurised hot and cold water.
Continuing aft through the galley is the owners aft cabin. This huge area is like a proper bedroom and has full standing headroom. To create the space the bed is over to starboard which gives the space for the living and dressing area to port with curved settee, dressing table with mirror and hull mounted cupboard storage. The heads is accessed to starboard giving it an "En Suite" feel.
