History of Alfamarine

Alfamarine, a highly reputable boat manufacturer, was birthed in Fiumicino, Italy, in 1971. Pioneered by a passionate sailor and entrepreneur, Piero Canepa, the brand was inspired by a love of the sea and brought to life with Italian craftsmanship. Canepa's dream was to create luxury powerboats that combined style, speed, and safety. Alfamarine's maiden launch, an impressive 12metres high-speed motorboat, marked the beginning of Canepa's lifelong commitment to enhancing the nautical experience.

During the 1980s, the company gained international recognition due to its production of superior quality, high-speed yachts ranging from 10 to 31 metres. The 1989 release of 'Amerigo', a high-speed 31m yacht, turned the attention of the global nautical community towards Alfamarine. It went down in history as one of the fastest yachts of its time, touching impressive speeds of up to 54 knots.

Today, Alfamarine's headquarters and production facility remain in Fiumicino, honouring its founding location. The brand continues to lead the industry in innovation, producing highly sought after, luxury powerboats with cutting-edge technology, superior craftsmanship, and timeless design. From their advanced hydro-jet models to the new Alfamarine 60', the brand remains committed to meeting the evolving demands of modern seafarers while retaining their signature Italian elegance.
