The Westerly Berwick is a traditionally styled family cruiser designed by Laurent Giles.  They have good accommodation and moderate draft, making them ideal for the shallow waters of the East Coast and beyond. This example has been under the same ownership for the past 29 years, the engine was replaced in 2004.

Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to six berths in two cabins. In the forecabin, V berth with infill and stowage under. Opening hatch to foredeck. Hanging locker. Separate heads to port with marine toilet and basin with a manually pumped cold water supply. Hanging locker opposite. In saloon, dinette to starboard with galley and settee berth opposite. Two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Sink with a manually pumped cold water supply. Fixed saloon table (large saloon table available). Two quarter berths port and starboard. Brown leather upholstery throughout.

Mechanical Systems

Located behind the companionway is the Volvo Penta 2030 fitted new in 2004. Freshwater cooled via a heat exchanger. single lever controls. 4 cylinders, 29hp.
