LM28 The LM 28 is a motor-sailor designed by Bent Juul Anderson. 325 were built between 1982 and 1991 by the Danish yard LM Glasfiber A/S.Lazy Mariner was built in 1985 and is a fine example of Scandinavian quality boat building. The teak interior of Lazy Mariner is both innovative as it is vast and is comparable to yachts over 3 or 4 feet longer. The interior comprises of a wheelhouse/galley, vast main cabin with hanging locker starboard and heads to port plus a generous double berth in the fore cabin. On top of that there is a good size cockpit with a full canopy and collapsible dining table. Lazy Mariner is a joy to sail and whilst not perhaps achieving line honours in the local Yacht Club’s midweek series she will perform well enough for any discerning cruising sailor whether coastal or the occasional venture across The Channel. Furthermore should precipitation be upon you be smug in the knowledge you can retire in comfort to the heated wheelhouse. Finally at the end of a great day’s sailing with Lazy Mariner’s bilge keels she can anchor in the parts that others cannot reach - to quote what the Danish say! |
