Description

Böbst-Werft 6.5KR
S/Y Eliza was built in 1971 at the Böbst Werft in Northern Germany to the national KR rating rule. The rule was developped by Henry Rasmussen, to create a class of seaworthy club racers, very close to the RORC rating rule and proved to be very successfull. Measuring 6KR, Eliza was built from Mahogany and Teak with a casted lead keel, the hull planking was made from Mahogany. She is a beautiful cruiser, equipped for extensive sailing vacations for a family crew and can easily be the winning boat in the next classic or club race she enters. Eliza sports a aluminum mast, boom and spinnaker boom with a total of 46m² of sails upwind.
