Sealine S48 2001 Sealine S48 Sports Yacht, commissioned in July 2001. Manta Ray has been well maintained using Volvo Penta parts for all servicing and replacement items. Annual lift out with stern gear polished, gelcoat compound cut and polished, anodes replaced and Coppercoat abraded every other year. She is powered by twin Volvo Penta TAMD 74P inboard diesels. Recent upgrades and refurbishments include new fuel injection pump and exhausts in 2023, refurbished canvas covers with new windows and a new battery charger in 2022, bow thruster overhaul and new engine and domestic batteries in 2021 and a new stern thruster in 2018. Cockpit upholstery was remodelled in grey vinyl with/ embroidered logos on the helm and navigator seats. Below deck accommodation features leather seating in the saloon and two large cabins both with en-suite shower and toilets. Broker comments The S48 was the first sports cruiser to feature a drop down bathing platform that has become a near essential for all 40ft plus motorboats today. The vast interior with two generous cabins and a roomy saloon feels like it belongs a much larger vessel and an owner could choose either the midships or the forward as their master. Other innovations included the hardtop with retracting sunroof and the port door from the cockpit direct to the side deck. There is ample lounging space in the aft cockpit as well as plenty seating for driver and guests forward. A sports cruiser that is great for a coupe with easy handling or a family looking to travel further in comfort and ease.
