A head-turningly pretty example of this popular Holman & Pye design, Piet Heyn has been meticulously cared for and regularly upgraded. She combines excellent sailing performance with comfortable accommodation below together with the build quality for which Wauquiez are well known. The deep aft cockpit provides comfort and security for the crew, and with reefing and control lines led aft she is easily handled short-handed or by a couple.
Down below the light teak woodwork and pale blue upholstery gives a spacious feel with generous headroom (1.88m) for a yacht of this size. There is a comfortable double berth in the forepeak, a single pilot berth aft and one of the two saloon berths converts to a small double. There is a large chart table to port and galley to starboard with sink, top loading fridge and a two burner gas cooker/oven. She has generous locker storage both below and in the cockpit. A neat folding saloon table provides dining space for five below, while retraction of the tiller provides even more generous space around a bi-pedestal cockpit table.
