The Southerly 47 is a boat that is very capable for both local cruising and entering estuaries and harbours that other blue water cruisers simply wouldn’t enter but also very capable of full blue water cruising with an eye of travelling around the world in comfort and style.
This is a one owner from new boat and she has been meticulously maintained since her launch in 2014. In August 2023 she was out of the water for ongoing maintenance as part of her annual programme, the works included annual hull compound and polish together with completing the replacement of all skin fittings which the owner has been doing over the last couple of years.
This Southerly 47 is also unique in that when the owner was designing her he worked with the Southerly team in Chichester Harbour to include in her design the three vertical windows in the spacious rear full-width master cabin, this was a masterstroke as gives so much more light to this area and make this Southerly 47 truly unique.
