ALMYRA II – Perini Navi 50M Sailing Yacht for Charter – Built 2000 – Full Refit 2022 – Summer in the Mediterranean, Winter in the Caribbean – 5 Staterooms for up to 12 Guests.
ALMYRA II is a 50m (164’) ketch-rigged Perini Navi sailing superyacht for charter, built in Italy by Perini Navi and delivered in 2000, combining the classical elements of a pedigree yacht enhanced by a contemporary multi-million-euro refit in 2022.
ALMYRA II (which translates as “salt of the sea” in Greek) offers high-performance racing with the comfort of an ocean cruiser. Built with 3Di Ocean 700 sails, designed for long-distance blue water cruising, she is the only Perini Navi with this technology on the market. She also features a retractable keel to access shallow waters and anchor close to bays creating a luxury experience under sail and on shore to cherish forever.
Exuding style, class and quality from every angle, her classic interior integrates the needs of a modern sailor with contemporary amenities. This includes a waterside beach club accompanied by a large collection of water toys for all ages and vast open deck spaces for lounging in peace. Offering an exhilarating blend of sailing and cruising, guests aboard ALMYRA II are treated to a super silent and stable onboard journey. Her volumes are impressive and result in a gross tonnage of 422 GT with a 11.41m maximum beam.
The yacht’s large interior volume makes it the ideal space for couples, groups of friends and families to enjoy. This sentiment is reflected in Greek artist Danae Stratou’s notable paintings, specially commissioned to reflect ALMYRA II’s never-ending adventures across oceans and landmasses.
The versatile layout accommodates 12 guests in five cabins all with en suite bathrooms, including the master suite. Alternatively, the flexible arrangement offers the option of converting the fifth stateroom into a master suite lounge or office. Throughout the cabins, bamboo towels and Aqua di Parma toiletries add the finishing touch, complemented by the yacht’s plastic-free policy. A key priority onboard this vessel is a greener method of travel – from applying a sustainability rating to the yacht, to reducing CO2 emissions, minimising the use of plastic waste and using refillable toiletries onboard, as well as bringing scientists along to do onboard research.
As one of the scarce Perini Navis sailing the world as a charter yacht, she is a prestigious vessel offering the glamour of a classic sailing yacht with the luxury of a modern motorsailer. A charter aboard the distinctive ALMYRA II is bound to be like no other.
Her steel hull provides exceptional stability and seaworthiness, while she benefits from the unique Perini “single-handed sails control” concept, first implemented by Fabio Perini. Her top speed is 15 knots and she boasts a maximum range of 3200 nautical miles when navigating at her cruising speed of 13 knots, with power coming from twin 965 Hp Deutz-MWM diesel engines.
After refit, one significant change is that the wide, long aft exterior space has been transformed into more of a relaxing lounge-style area, with new furniture, and sliding doors into the dining space, as well as fresh polish and varnish on the woods throughout. The design scheme is “classic contemporary – whites, browns and leather”, incorporating items such as tan leather chairs, a Sahara Noir marble bar and marble coffee tables and side tables, along with specially commissioned 3D sculptural paintings made by Greek artist Danae Stratou.
There are four cabins, along with a master cabin salon/office that can be converted into a fifth bedroom, and five en-suite bathrooms – not to mention a spacious area for crew - “it’s almost half of the boat”.
When at anchor, ALMYRA II has onboard an incredible selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to connect with the waters around you. Principle among these is a Tiwal sailboat to bring out the explorer in you. Other excellent features are Jobe towable toys offering fun and adventure. Also, there are four water-skis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If that isn't enough, the vessel also features two Seabobs, wakeboards, kayaks, snorkelling and scuba diving equipment and paddleboards. When it comes to tenders, ALMYRA II has you covered - with two tenders, including a 5.6m/18'4" Novurania guest tender.
Based in summer in the magical waters of the Mediterranean, ALMYRA II is ready for your next luxury yacht charter where you’ll discover the magical places, food and experiences of the Mediterranean. In winter, this Perini Navi charter yacht shall be available for charters in the Caribbean.
With its superlative combination of luxurious styling and superb amenities, charter sailing yacht ALMYRA II has everything you could possibly want for unforgettable yacht charter vacations.
