1978 Norseman 33 For Sale in Kent
The Norseman 33 is a well-crafted motorboat offering comfortable accommodation with four berths distributed across two cabins. With more than six feet of headroom throughout, the interior is spacious and benefits from ample natural light. The blue upholstery and Eberspaecher diesel cabin heating system, ensuring a warm and inviting environment.
Designed by the renowned G L Watson and constructed by Viking Marine, the Norseman 33 has been well maintained by the current owner. A February 2024 survey report will be made available to anyone viewing the vessel. The survey recommendations have been actioned.

Accommodation :
The forward saloon offers a single berth with under-berth storage on the starboard side, along with hanging storage and TV. Moving aft, the galley is located on the port side and is equipped with a 2-burner gas hob and oven, fridge, cupboard storage, and a single stainless-steel sink with pressurized water heated by an Ariston water heater.
Opposite the galley on the starboard side is the Heads compartment, which includes a sink mounted in a vanity unit, a marine toilet, a mirror, and an in-built shower tray. The sink is equipped with pressurized hot and cold water, along with a shower attachment.
The Wheelhouse/saloon offers great visibility through two large forward-facing windscreens and two large side windows giving great visibility when sat on the Helm. The helm position is located on the port side, with wheel steering, and engine controls, and offers great access through a sliding door to the port side deck. The starboard side offers bench seating that converts into the fourth berth on this vessel, leading to the aft cabin. The Wheelhouse provides easy access to the two BMC Captain 32HP engines.
The Master cabin is in the stern of the vessel, with a double berth to starboard with under berth storage with additional storage to the portside and TV across the stern. The Vessel also benefits from a Radio/ CD Player.

History & Construction: The Norseman 33 was designed by GL Watson and was originally developed from a ship’s lifeboat with its semi rounded transom, This Norseman was constructed by Viking Marine in 1978.
She has a Blue GRP hull and white superstructure with synthetic teak decking, stainless steel stanchions with wooden handrails, pulpit and bathing platform.
The boat was last out of the water in May 2024 when she was antifouled, anodes replaced, and her hull polished. A copy of the February 2024 survey will be available to anyone viewing this vessel.

Mechanical Systems:
This Norseman 33 is equipped with twin BMC Captain Nouage 32HP 4-cylinder naturally aspirated diesel engines. These engines drive two shaft-driven, three-bladed fixed propellers, providing an approximate cruising speed of 6 knots and a maximum speed of about 10 knots. The engines are salt water-cooled and were last serviced by the owner in 2023. The vessel was last taken out of the water in May 2024 for maintenance.
Electrical Systems:
The Norseman 33 is equipped with four 12-volt batteries. (2 x engine starting + 2 x domestic) These batteries are charged both by the alternator and battery charger when connected to the 240V power system. The 12- Volt system is managed, ensuring optimal performance of the electrical setup onboard.
This boat also benefits from two Solar panel’s charging both the domestic and engine batteries.
