‘MORSE’ is a superb example of a Nelson 29 originally built in 1993, that is comprehensively fitted out with most options.
She was fitted with new Twin 200hp Nanni T4/200 engines in 2012, costing around £55,000, which have only done 890 hours from new.
Many of the upgrades have been done to allow short-handed cruising and improve the vessel's safety gear.
Over the last two or three years she has had a further £50,000 (approx.) spent on renewing and updating most on-board equipment, plus an outside steering position has been added in the cockpit plus a new cockpit Canopy.
All electronic navigation and engine instrumentation have been renewed, plus a new dashboard and switchgear (Please see Specification).
New grey leather cushions, new curtains, and a new mattress have been fitted.
Her hull has been epoxy Copper coated so that minimal antifouling is required each year and also an Ultra Sonic system has been fitted to further deter fouling/marine growth on the hull.
Twin propellers have been replaced by ones from Clement Engineering and shaft anodes have been fitted. They are Contra-rotating outward-turning props. She also has a side power, Bow Propeller fitted.
