Marc Lombard was a prolific and gifted yacht designer, combined with Jeanneau they have produced the Sun Odyssey 379. It is not often that a boat of this size becomes available with beach-able lift keel. Jeanneau have got this unique feature down to a fine art with the Jeanneau 379. The External keel box means that there is no loss to the internal volume, twin rudders mean that the Jeanneau 379 can be beached at low tide with care, the keel raising line is led back to the cockpit for easy control and there is a through hull valve under the floor for inspection or access to unblock if needed. 

The long waterline provides fast, easy passage making with the hard chine creating stability and increased interior volume.

• The Hull is of solid hand laid fibreglass with a GRP internal grid
• The Gelcoat is an Isopthalic resin to increase osmotic protection
• The deck is cored with balsa and is injection moulded to create a structure that is stiff and light with a smooth finish
