Dufour 34 Performance for sale in Kent
The Dufour 34 Performance is a well-built coastal cruiser with good sea keeping qualities with 6 berths in 2 cabins. This Dufour 34 Performance benefits from Raymarine navigation equipment with electronic charts, 285 Litre fresh water capacity, a 2019 holding tank, and recently replaced anodes. She is presented in very good condition. A previous 2017 survey is available upon request. The yacht is reluctantly being sold. A berth in MDL Chatham Marina is available.

Accommodation :
This 2004 Dufour 34 Performance offers a total of six berths across two cabins. The forward cabin features a double V-berth, complete with under-berth storage and side shelves. The cabin also includes a wardrobe to starboard and storage cupboard to port. The forepeak also offers an opening deck hatch overhead for ventilation and natural light.
The saloon consists of a central table with settees to both port and starboard side with under-seat stowage and cupboards spread behind the seating area.
The galley is located on the portside and features a double stainless-steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water, a two-burner gas hob with oven and grill, 12-volt fridge, and ample storage space. This Dufour 34 Performance benefits from a 285 Litre freshwater capacity, with a holding tank that was fitted in 2019.
Located to starboard this Dufour 34 Performance boasts a forward-facing navigation station, perfect for accommodating full-size charts. Below the table, there is ample storage space for multiple charts, as well as housing the navigational instrumentation and the electrical distribution panel.
Located behind the chart table, is the heads compartment this consists of a single stainless steel sink mounted in a vanity unit, pressurised hot and cold water with shower attachment, built-in shower tray, a marine toilet, and a mirror. Hot water is supplied by the engine through an immersion coil heated by the engine.
Located at the stern of the saloon to the port side, is a double berth cabin with under berth and side shelve storage. This cabin benefit from a single opening portlight to the cockpit, this allows natural light and ventilation.
This Dufour 34 Performance benefits from an Eberspacher diesel heater supplying heat to the main saloon, owners’ cabin and guest cabin. Also included in the saloon is a radio/CD player.
The companionway leads up to a large aft cockpit for a boat of its size with bench seating surrounding the wheel steering column with Compass, Depth gauge, Wind direction and speed log, and engine controls.

History & Construction
Built in 2004 this Dufour 34 Performance has a white GRP hull and superstructure with non-slip deck surfaces. She benefits from a cast iron fin keel, wheel steering with a spade rudder, a self-draining cockpit and anchor well, wooden toe rails, stainless steel stanchions, pulpit. She was last out of the water in 2024 when the hull was polished and anodes changed, the vessel was last antifouled in 2023.
The current owners have enjoyed and maintained the vessel for seven year to a very high standard and are looking to move away from sailing. A previous 2017 survey is available upon request.

Spars & Sails:
This Dufour 34 Performance has a Masthead sloop rig, with a keel stepped aluminium Sparcraft mast and boom with stainless steel standing rigging. The age of the standing and running rigging is unknown.
This vessel is equipped with a furling headsail and a slab reefing mainsail with lazy Jacks and stack pack that was replaced in 2019 and manual backstay adjuster.

Mechanical Systems:
This Dufour 34 Performance has a single 2004, 29HP Volvo diesel engine powering a saildrive with a two-bladed folding propeller. The Volvo engine is supplied by a 90-litre capacity plastic fuel tank with Morse controls. The engine hours are unknown. This yacht should achieve a cruising speed of approximately 6 knots and a maximum speed of 7.5 knots.
Electrical Systems:
4 x 12-volt batteries (1 x engine + 2 x Domestic batteries + 1 x Anchor Winch) all charging from the alternator, solar panel and 240V battery charger.
This Dufour 34 Performance benefits from shore power connection with a ring main throughout the vessel and immersion heater.
