This circa 1978, UFO 27 offers a simple yet practical layout. This yacht has been owned by the current owner for the past 10 years, with three previous owners in its history. This UFO 27 benefits from stainless steel stanchions and pulpit, Aluminium toe rail, a 50 Litre freshwater tank, a 45 Litre Fuel tank, and Clipper Navigation equipment. Accommodation :
This UFO 27 provides comfortable accommodation for up to five people across two cabins.
The forepeak features a V-berth with convenient under-berth storage and an infill that converts it into a double berth. Additional shelf storage is available on both sides of the berth for added practicality.
Moving aft, the port-side heads compartment is equipped with a marine toilet and a wash basin supplied with manually pumped cold water.
Continuing towards the stern, the saloon offers settees on both the port and starboard sides, each with under-seat and shelf storage. Both settees can easily convert into single berths, providing flexibility for sleeping arrangements.
Positioned aft on the port side of the saloon, the galley is equipped with a gimbaled 2-burner gas stove, a single stainless-steel sink with manually pumped cold water, and ample storage space. Adjacent to the galley is a quarter berth for additional accommodation.
Ascending the companionway leads to the aft cockpit, which features bench seating for five and a spacious deep locker to port for storage. The cockpit is well-equipped with a compass, depth gauge, speed log, and engine controls, ensuring practicality and ease of use.

This UFO 27 is rigged as a masthead Bermudan sloop, featuring a deck-stepped aluminium mast and boom supported by stainless steel standing rigging. The age of both the standing and running rigging is unknown. Equipped with a hank-on headsail and a slab reefing mainsail. Additionally, the vessel is equipped with an aluminium spinnaker pole.

The UFO 27 is powered by an 18hp Yanmar diesel engine with direct cooling, driving a shaft-connected three-bladed fixed propeller. Engine operation is managed via Morse controls and is supplied by a 45 Litre steel fuel tank. The vessel achieves an approximate cruising speed of 5 knots and a maximum speed of around 6 knots. The engine hours are unknown.
Electrical Systems;
This UFO 27 is equipped with two 12-volt batteries, (1 x Engine 75ah, age unknown) & (1 x Domestic, 75ah, age unknown). These batteries charge directly from the engine alternator.
