Stepping aboard this yacht, it is hard to believe she is 27 years old. She looks and feels much younger, clearly having been very well cared for and upgraded over the years.
What it is also immediatelly apparent is just how stable and solid she feels. She benefits from lead ballast, and a "winged" keel reduces the draft to only 1.17m, which, when combined with her beaching legs, means she can dry out - making her a great choice for our sailing area - without having the performance compromise of bilge keels - or the hassle of a lifting keel.
She is also feels quite a beamy boat, which makes the space onboard, especially below decks, remarkable for a 30 footer. She could just about sleep 7 - but for a typical compliment of 4 people this would be a comfortable offshore passage making yacht.
The decks are wide, with an excellent moulded non-slip texture and all feel very solid underfoot. The side decks are unobstructed with the shroud chainplates mounted inboard of the side decks.
