Mechanical & Electrical Systems

located behind the companionway steps is the Volvo D1-30 diesel engine. Three cylinders, fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger. Approximately 350 hours. Serviced annually. Single lever controls. Saildrive to two blade propeller. Sail drive diaphragm fitted in 2016. Sidepower bowthruster fitted in 2022. Engine is serviced annually, last serviced Spring 2024.

12 volt engine start battery. Three 12 volt domestic batteries. Alternator charging. 240v shore power outlets at the galley, saloon and cabins. Battery charger. 12v accessory outlets at the helm and chart table

Mast, Rigging & Contruction

Fractional rigged Bermudan sloop Deckstepped selden aluminium mast and spars. Stainless steel standing rigging (2016). Terylene running rigging. Selden rod kicker. Slab reefing mainsail with two reefs. Selden MDS slider system for the mainsail. Lazyjacks and stackpack. Selden Furlex headsail furling system. All running rigging leads aft to the cockpit. Built by Bavaria Yachtbau in 2016 to a design of Bruce Farr. Silk grey GRP hull topsides. White GRP deck and superstructure with moulded non-slip surfaces. Shallow fin keel. Wheel steering to a spade hung rudder. Teak laid cockpit deck and seating. Guardwire exits to port and starboard.
